In terms of the provisions of the Coconut Development Act No. 46 of 1971 and amendments thereto, all individuals and organizations engaged in the manufacture, processing and / or export of coconut products, Auctioneer/brokers, Estate Owners and Dealers should register themselves annually with the Coconut Development Authority.

All individuals and organizations engaged in the manufacture, processing and / or export of coconut products, Auctioneer/brokers, Estate Owners and Dealers are registered annually with the Coconut Development Authority, for the purpose of closer monitoring of domestic and export marketing channels and co-ordination of the interest of all stakeholders, vital for development of the coconut industry.

Applications are issued from middle of December of every year upto 31st January in the subsequent year at the Head office, Marketing Development & Research Division in Fort, Branch offices and via CDA Web and mail to all registered exporters of the year
